You might quickly think of Albert Heijn, Bakker Bart or De Hypotheker, but you truly have a world of possibilities. Below are a number of highlighted options. Some of them you've probably never even thought of. Who knows, it might give you ideas!

Services: from hairdresser to funeral director

There are all kinds of services where you can start a business, even as a franchisee. For example, is your strength in accounting, mortgage advice, or funeral care? Or are you a fantastic hairdresser or do you know everything about health and want to give advice about it? It's all possible as part of a franchise formula.

Food

Would you like to sell chocolates, sweets, donuts or drinks? Would you prefer your own bakery or an organic supermarket? These are also possibilities!

Hospitality

Hospitality is perhaps the best-known sector within franchise formulas. Everyone knows the larger fast-food chains, pizza delivery services and coffee bars. But even if you want to start a cafe, (delivery) restaurant, lunchroom or snack bar, you can do so as a franchisee.

Finally, you have many possibilities within healthcare. A sector that is clearly not shrinking, but where there are many opportunities. As a franchisee, you can start your own childminder agency or your own business as an optician and/or audiologist. Home care is also an important branch within this sector.

Whatever you choose, make sure you thoroughly investigate it beforehand. Choose a sector that you have an affinity with and where it is easy for you to be enthusiastic about. And of which you are convinced that there are opportunities in the region where you want to establish yourself!
