Moccamaster has been known for high-quality filter coffee machines since 1968. The coffee machines are produced in the Netherlands, at the Technivorm factory in Amerongen. There, the appliances are manufactured with great attention to quality, durability, and ease of use.

The guiding principle has remained the same throughout the years: to develop a coffee maker that consistently brews an excellent cup of coffee.

The Basis of a Perfect Cup of Coffee

A good cup of filter coffee starts with the right brewing temperature and a controlled brewing time. Moccamaster heats the water to an optimal temperature of 92 to 96 °C. This allows aromas to be fully released and creates a balanced flavour, without the coffee becoming too acidic or bitter.

The even distribution of water over the coffee also contributes to consistent extraction, so that every pot of coffee is of the same high quality.

Every Moccamaster is handmade in the Netherlands using high-quality materials selected for their quality, safety, and durability. Each machine is individually checked before leaving the factory.

A Moccamaster is built on a modular basis. This means parts can be easily replaced when needed. Individual parts are also available separately, making repairs often possible and significantly extending the lifespan of the appliance.

Certified quality

Moccamaster filter coffee machines and grinders are certified by ECBC and SCA. These quality marks assess water temperature, brewing time, and extraction, among other factors: factors that contribute to a good, balanced cup of filter coffee.
