Kaldi started with a single store in Zwolle in 2000 and has since expanded to 25 locations in the Netherlands. We have grown into a true franchise formula, but we are also at your service at events with Kaldi Mobiel, online coffee bean purchases via the webshop, and Kaldi Business for our corporate customers.

2000
Kaldi Zwolle opens its doors at Luttekestraat 50.
2001
Kaldi Apeldoorn opens its doors at Paslaan 2.
2004

2005

Future of Kaldi
In January 2025, Hans Tietema transferred Kaldi to Martijn Bas and Guus Groeneveld. Martijn and Guus want to grow Kaldi in every way possible. They want to expand our franchise formula, mean more to business customers, and be more visible at events. Kaldi has recently developed into a true specialist in the coffee world, but with the new plans, we are certainly not done yet!
